Steve
Veterinary Assistant
Steve was born in Staten Island, New York. Along with his career in plumbing and welding, Steve has been working on and off in the veterinary field since the early 1980’s. He finds himself returning to the this profession as a result of his desire to give something back to the one constant joy in his life: animals.
When Steve is not in the clinic, he enjoys flying (he is a private pilot), motorcycle riding, and the study of large wildcats, especially lions and tigers. Steve has also been studying Aikido martial arts for the past 15 years with some of the country’s top instructors.
Steve lives locally with his pug, Violet, and his two dachshunds, Ruger and Jasmine.
Steve approaches life with an attitude exemplified by his favorite quote from Ben Franklin, “Well done is always better than well said.” |
