Dr. Shannon Cloninger  Veterinarian, Co-Owner    

Dr. Cloninger grew up in Mendocino County.
She graduated with honors from Ross University of Veterinary Medicine in 2004, and attended a surgical externship at Veterinary Surgical Specialists in Concord, California. After practicing in Portland, Oregon for four years, Shannon joined Analy Veterinary Hospital. She and Dr. Alexander purchased Analy Veterinary Hospital in January of 2009.Dr. Cloninger loves all aspects of veterinary medicine, but her greatest interests are in surgery and pain management.
In her spare time, Dr. Cloninger enjoys spending time with her husband, their identical twin boys, and their two dogs.


Dr. Patricia Alexander Veterinarian, Co-Owner
Dr. Alexander is from Virginia Beach, Virginia. She received dual bachelors degrees (French Literature and Language, and Biology) from the University of Virginia. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine with Honors. In 2001 she did an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the prestigious Animal Medical Center in New York City.
Dr. Alexander practiced in Portland, Oregon for several years before moving to Sonoma County where she spent three years at PetCare. Dr. Alexander is also licensed in veterinary acupuncture and is able to offer an integrative approach to veterinary medicine drawing from both Western and Eastern healing philosophies. She is dedicated to offering compassionate care and promoting balanced, healthy, comfortable, and happy lives for our pets.
In her free time, Dr Alexander likes to be outdoors, garden, travel, scuba dive, and of course, spend time with her kitties and her son.

Dr. Jessica Baldwin  Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Baldwin is originally from the South Bay, although she spent several years on the East Coast in Virginia.  Prior to attending Veterinary school, she worked as a veterinary receptionist and technician in San Francisco.

Dr. Baldwin graduated from UC Davis in 1992 with degrees in textile design and psychology.  She then attended UC Davis School of veterinary
medicine and graduated in 2002.  Dr. Baldwin worked in the Sacramento area for several
years after graduation, before moving to Sonoma County where she has been living and
practicing veterinary medicine for several years.
Dr. Baldwin enjoys working with many species including dogs, cats, reptiles and birds
(including chickens.) In her free time, Dr. Baldwin enjoys gardening with native plants and creating butterfly/bee habitats, camping with her family, and home construction projects using
recycled materials.  She lives with her husband and two children, her
dog ,cats, two parrots, one frog, and 45 chickens.

Dr. Morna (Mo/Simon) Herzberg, Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Herzberg is a Sebastopol native and graduate of Analy High School.  

Dr. Herzberg earned their bachelor’s degree in Spanish, graduating with honors from Willamette University in 2000, and their master’s degree in literature, graduating with honors from La Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in 2005 as the only non-native Spanish speaker in the program.  

Dr. Herzberg lived for nearly a decade in South America, learned to play the charango in Ecuador, performed in concerts throughout Europe as a clarinetist, and worked almost daily with a veterinarian while attending graduate school in Chile. Prior to veterinary school, Dr. Herzberg worked in Sonoma County as a Spanish teacher, tutor, and translator, as well as with community healthcare clinics that supported uninsured and low-income families.  

Dr. Herzberg earned their doctorate degree in veterinary medicine from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. They are an Elite Fear Free Certified Professional and earned their Certificate for Diversity and Inclusion in Veterinary Medicine from Purdue University. Dr. Herzberg is passionate about surgery and feline medicine.  

Dr. Herzberg brings their deep connection and love for animals and those who care for them to their daily practice. For Dr. Herzberg, the human-animal bond is the key to peace, compassion, and harmony. During their free time, Dr. Herzberg enjoys performing surgery as a volunteer veterinarian at spay/neuter and trap-neuter-return clinics.  

Dr. Herzberg shares their home with their beloved kitties and tortoise, and adores the cheerful company of their neighbor’s dogs. They also appreciate the wildlife and farm animals that live with them in the country.


Dr. Tanya Moeller    Associate Veterinarian/Ultrasonographer

Dr. Moeller earned her bachelor’s degree from UC Santa Cruz. She moved to Kansas to attend veterinary school at Kansas State. After graduating, she completed and internship and residency in internal medicine at the prestigious Animal Medical Center in New York City.

You may know Dr. Moeller from Petcare Veterinary Hospital where she has worked for many years in internal medicine. She has many interests including oncology and ultrasound, and has recently started a mobile ultrasound practice. Dr. Moeller lives locally and has many pets including dogs, cats, parrots, and chickens.

Dr. Moeller has become busy with her own ultrasound practice and is now only with us sporadically, but continues to consult on cases.

Lisa Ostello (customer care representative)-Lisa joined Analy in May of 2015, but had worked in the field for many years prior to her work here. Lisa loves animals and has helped save countless animal lives in her efforts with rescue groups.  She is also  very passionate about empowering others to reach their goals.  When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé Jeff, and her four dogs Daisy, Chopper, Nugget and Carson. 


Caroline Barossi (customer care representative/book keeping)-Caroline has been in the veterinary field for over 15 years. Her favorite things to do outside of work are hike with her dog Sawyer, and watch sports.  


Monique Nunez (customer care representative)- Monique has been in the field since 2020.  She enjoys communication with clients and is also learning to cross train as a tech assistant.  In her free time, she spends time with her little dog, Bambi, and her family.


Arianna Huerta (customer care representative)- - Arianna is a relatively new addition to our team, but you would never know that given her depth of knowledge.  She had been in the veterinary field for two years prior to coming to Analy Vet.  She loves spending time with her pets and her family outside of work, and prioritizes having fun in her life.


Shanti Marcello(Registered Veterinary Technician)- Shanti has been in the field for years. We were lucky enough to hire her right out of school and she is in the process of getting her Registered Veterinary Technician License.  In her free time she loves spending time with her big dog, Gunner, collecting houseplants, hiking and being out in nature.


Genny Bertain (Certified Veterinary Assistant)- Genny is a Sonoma County native who has had a love for animals and nature all her life. After obtaining her bachelor’s degree in biology in 2016 from CSU Monterey Bay, she followed her passion for animals and entered the veterinary field. She lived in Salinas for two years before deciding she could not stay away from beautiful Sonoma County where she joined our team at Analy Vet. In her free time, you can find her outdoors hiking, biking, or camping, reading, playing the ukulele, or just hanging out with her two favorites: Her boyfriend Adam and her Cattle dog Milo.


Gillian Porter(Certified Veterinary Assistant)- Gillian has been in the field since 2019.  She is working towards getting her registered veterinary technician license.  In her free time she likes snowboarding, going to the lake and spending time with her animals.


Olivia Morales (tech assistant)-Olivia has been in the field of veterinary medicine since her Junior year of high school. Her favorite thing to in her free time is spending time with friends family and  her cats and hiking.


Oliver Wolf (tech assistant)- Oliver has been in the field sine 2018, and is a relatively new addition to our team.  He is also an artist, and spends free time drawing and playing with his dogs.


Mandi Cota(tech assistant) - Mandi is a huge animal lover and is working towards her dream of becoming a licensed veterinary technician. She has always worked around animals, having grown up on a farm.  Her first job at 16yrs old was as a groomer/daycare attendant for dogs and cats. Over the years, she has come to love animals more and more.  Her goal is to help as many animals as she can. She feels like veterinary medicine will definitely help her to reach that goal and she is excited to see what she can accomplish moving forward.
